Day 4: First ones here, first ones here......first ones here!

We had a slight panic on Sunday night while confirming our route to the Warner Bros. Studio for the Harry Potter Tour the next day. When we planned it out a few months ago, the public transit route showed that it took about an hour from our place. Mid-Sunday I started mapping it out again and it showed a travel time of over 3 hours!  Sunday night I tried again and it showed 1 hr and 40 mins.  It turns out that one of the train lines currently has limited service, so I think that was affecting our route times. Not wanting to take a chance, we bailed on public transit and got an Uber to the Studios on Monday morning. We arrived at 7:40am for our 9am tour, and we were literally the first ones there.

Luckily, the gates opened at 8am and the Studio opened at 8:30am. We were able to get in, get our bags checked, and be part of the first group to go on the tour.  

The tour is self-guided and is incredibly well done. I won't give away too much, but this is definitely one of the best tours we've been on. Our girls are fans of the books, so while the average tour time is 3 to 3.5 hours, we spent 7 hours there! There are so many sets, props, and costumes to look at.  You learn so much about how the characters (Muggles, Wizards, and creatures!), buildings, and costumes were created. If you look on Trip Advisor, this attraction has 39,000+ reviews and it has a 5 star rating....earning every single one of those stars. On the way back to our place, we looked at some of the 1 star reviews just to see what kind of person could possibly give the tour such a low rating, and it reaffirmed that some people just simply cannot be satisfied. 

After our full day at Warner Bros, we headed back to our neighborhood and checked to see if we could get theatre tickets again, but didn't have luck this time. We grabbed some dinner, got the girls some Bubble/Boba/Cuppa/whatever tea and then went back to our place. Overall, we had a fantastic day!
